7. Soccer City (94,700 spectators)
Soccer City is the most important sports ground in Africa and at the same time one of the most spacious on Earth. Its territory, where the stands are located, can accommodate about 94,700 fans. The stadium was opened at the end of the eighties of the last century. The restoration of the facility was completed by 2010, by the time of the start of the FIFA World Cup. Due to the obvious external similarities with the plant of the same name, the sports facility began to be called “Kalabash”.
