Azadi has been the stadium of the most impressive size for over 10 years (1971-1984). The stands of the stadium in Iran can accommodate up to 100 thousand fans of sports events. By right, Azadi can be considered the largest arena on the planet in terms of area. The occupied area is approximately 3 million sq. M.
