1. She grew up in a one-bedroom apartment with her parents and older brother on the South Side of Chicago (just 15 minutes away from her future hubby!)
2. Her husband isn’t the only smartie in the family: Michelle majored in sociology at Princeton, where she graduated with honors, and went to Harvard Law School.
