2. Copenhagen, Denmark
The cities of three Scandinavian countries – Denmark, Sweden and Norway – dominate the list of the best places to live, although only the capital of one of them made it to the top 10. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, the reason is simple: stability, excellent infrastructure, access to healthcare, and greater cultural richness. Interestingly, part of the Danish capital is occupied by the free city of Christiania – a commune of hippies who stayed in the 70s and do not want to get out of there, the mecca of all the “leftists” of the world.
